Description

Dell – Four Color # 595 ”Pluto” by Paul Murry. 1954.
This is the first Pluto cover made by the american Disney artist Paul Murry and the third Pluto cover for the entire run. The cover of FC # 595 might be the only original cover artwork survived of all 10 Pluto covers published by Dell.
Jack Bradbury and Dick Moores drew the first 2 Pluto covers ( FC # 429 / 1952 & FC # 509 / 1953 ).
Paul Murry drew the last 8 covers for the run of Pluto in the period from 1954 to 1962.
The cover has until recently been part of a permanent private collection since the 1950`ies.

Thanks Monty. I am sorry - but I had to get this one. The cover was first published in Denmark very late..I remember the cover very clearly ( at the age of 10 ) back in 1976. Time flies..!!
