Description
Alan Lee pieces - especially Tolkien pieces - are as rare as hen's teeth, so I was very happy to add this to my collection. Thanks, Nick!

This was used on a print in the Warner Brothers Ultimate Middle Earth Blu-ray Set.

Mr Lee had this to say about it: "It was a pleasure having the opportunity to revisit that scene for the Warner special dvd (sic) set. I had drawn it, and similar moments, many times while working on the films, but I made the artwork designing the shot that was in the film in photoshop, using a photo of the miniature."

I added the (sic) because it was for the special blu-ray set, not the DVD set.

The image of the watercolor painting above was taken through glass with an iphone so is a little blurry, but not too bad.

18"x24" framed to 28"x34" inches - I think on the large side for his work
