Description

Although published as a full color print by 1000 Editions in 1995, it's likely this incredible illustration was originally intended as a cover, "VOL. 1 The Complete Madman Comics" shown along the upper border. (Also plainly written but not visible in this scan are the words "VOL. 1 ISSUES 1-5" directly above his signature.) I purchased this from Jim Warden (DOA Sales) about ten years ago and it has remained a cornerstone of my collection ever since.
