DescriptionIt's been a while since I've attempted any recreations, and I thought a sketch cover would be something new and fun to experiment with. I found a picture of 90's Supergirl by Bruce Timm, and decided to repurpose it as Aleta of the 90's Guardians of the Galaxy.In the 90's, Jim Valentino did create an outline for his proposed animated Guardians series, so this is a fun look at what an animated Aleta could have looked like (though a kids network would not have liked that much cleavage.) This is also my first major attempt at coloring with alcohol-based markers, though I did switch things up a little bit by using a gold sharpie as well. The metallic ink looks far better in person than on the scan. Social/Sharing |
