DescriptionGray Morrow seems like he should have been a fan-favorite back in the 70's, and he DID have a long and varied portfolio, but it doesn't seem like he was given many of the "plum" opportunities. I was first blown away by him work in the Supergirl Movie adaptation. His art was so unique and engaging to me. The next thing I saw of his was the Spectre run and Zantanna special. His characters had such a distinct look that I loved. If any of you grew up with Cracker Jacks, you remember there was a "prize" inside each box. Although 99% of the time the prizes were duds, but when you hit that 1% it was a genuine thrill. THAT is what Gray Morrow became to me. That unexpected special prize when I would come across his work. I am extremely pleased to have a page of his Spectre work as part of my collection. Social/Sharing |

Spectre and Doctor Fate. Great page. Congrats. As for crackerjack prizes. Remember the rings? Got engaged many a time on the playground at recess.
