Description

My favorite page from the best "fill-in" story ever. Only Alan Moore could turn a half-reprint issue with a guest artist and a dream story into something this good. The whole thing is full of allusions and wordplay. And it's the introduction of Cain and Abel into the DC/Vertigo Universe, instead of just introducing the "House Of" stories. This one is just so well executed. The great Ron Randall closeup of Cain, Moore's sinister "Am I your keeper", and Abel's closing "Sometimes he can be murder". One of my favorites from the run, and that's saying a lot.
