Description

I commissioned this from Matthew after making a donation to The Florence Project, which is raising money for legal support for the families being persecuted by the Trump Administration.

Batclaw is Rachel Grayson, who debuted for one page in Geoff Johns' Justice League run as Dick Grayson's sister on Earth-3. On Earth-27B, Rachel was the only survivor of her family when they were killed by Strawflower, a combo of the Scarecrow and the Joker. Rachel was taken in by Tim Wayne, a.k.a. Horned Owl, and is essentially the first Robin-like character of this world. Instead of basing her off Talon, the Earth-3 Robin, she's primarily inspired from Nightwing and Fledermaus of Axis Amerika. She's a founding member of the Super-Stars and her Roma heritage is more pronounced in her characterization than it is with Dick Grayson.

I had Matthew do the design for her because I know he's a big Nightwing fan.
