Frontispiece, Trois Filles de Leur Mere - Pierre Louys (1990)

Frontispiece sketch by George Pichard to his illustrated version of the decadent erotic classic by Pierre Louys, 'Mother's Three Daughters' (published posthumously in 1926).

This edition, with 52 illustrations and illustrated capitals by Pichard was published in 1979 by Parisian imprint Heresiarque. The edition was just 2000, with this being number 624 of 1800 bound copies; numbers 1-200 came with unbound set of 52 seperate prints. However, this copy has a great sketch by Pichard, one of his later period prostitute images.
