SUPERBOY #1 page 18 (1990) by Jim Mooney & Ty Templeton

Easily one of my favorite pages by Jim Mooney, and Ty Templeton hooked it up with the inks. This page from the first issue from the 1990 series that tied in with the TV show (the issue had a photo cover with Gerard Christopher and Stacy Haiduk) features Superboy in every panel, making contact with an alien force. Nice nods to some classic Superman poses here, and so much going on too. The photo doesn't do this justice, there is a lot of detail here. This is actually my second page from issue #1, I sold the other one which featured Clark changing into Superboy. I've had a few Mooney pages come and go in my collection, but I don't think I'll ever sell this one... it's just too nice.
