Description

1st of 2 posts tonight featuring Marvel�s resident vampire slayer. Commissioned this from Khary at Heroes Con 2017. I gave him a few options and he was most excited about Blade so there you go - it shows, I think!

Very nice colors here. Great tone work and I really dig the red lenses and background that make for a more effective image via juxtaposition. I love the smirk on Blade while he�s holding the smoking gun...he looks happy with himself :) Blade�s known as a no nonsense character but you do get the sense he enjoys his work!

Khary said he liked how it turned out, too, and he must�ve as he included it in his most recent sketchbook! Thanks for looking!

Beautiful piece and very apt description. Blade's "pride in workmanship" definitely shines through with this image.
