Grail Alert! I have loved this audacious cover since I first saw it in the White Horse bookshop in Marlborough in 1980. Of course, the top cover for any fan of the extraordinary fantasy work of Christos Achilleos would be a Target Doctor Who cover - but I know where those are, and the collector ain't selling. But this is just as awesome and quite a bit naughtier. Having toiled up an icy staircase in her high heels, with her bear-skin cloak slipping off, and with a wicked-ass wedgie, the Swordmistress of Chaos is then confronted by a giant frog, leering at her seductively.
