I traded away my other Perez Titans page to land this one because it features my guy Robotman. These issues of Teen Titans really ignited my love of The Doom Patrol. Perez & Tanghal's beat up Robotman is one of the enduring images of my fanhood.

All the hallmarks of classic Perez abound on this page; great acting, tiny figures, texture, dynamic layout, Perez debris. Also, you will rarely find a writer, artist and letterer working together as smoothly to guide readers from panel to panel, and to make both each panel and each page a distinct story unit. I mean, the page has an arc!

I agree with you, this issue for me made Doom Patrol interesting. Perez was firing on all cylinders by this point and his work was just superb.
