Description

Earlier today, I learned the sad news that Walter Velez passed away this past Friday. I never met him, but I always enjoyed his art, particularly the covers he provided for the Thieves' World and Myth Adventures series. So in his memory, I thought I'd post a prelim of his that I bought a few years back. This is a prelim for "The Face of Chaos" (Thieves' World #5), edited by Robert Lynn Asprin and Lynn Abbey.

I'm surprised and sad to hear about Walter's passing. I too enjoyed his book covers ... always well designed & a nice mix of gentle & bold in appearance. I've never seen a prelim by him; thank you for sharing.
