Well, I'm a day late for Kelly Freas' birthday, but in belated birthday celebration of Freas, here's one of the other illos we picked up in our LA purchase last month. This one's from Astounding Science Fiction, December 1955, for Murray Leinster's "Sand Doom."

And if ya haven't heard the news of the day yet, Bob Eggleton (right up there with Freas in the ranks of talented SF artists) has announced that he, along with Laura Brodian Freas Beraha, will be doing THE ART OF FRANK KELLY FREAS for Centipede Press. I wanna buy my copy now!
