DescriptionI have been trying to find a nice Lady Death cover by Steven for a long time now. I used to have a few of his pieces including covers many years ago, but unfortunately had to sell them back in 2010 when the economy tanked. But I swore then that I'd get more when I could and have been slowly doing just that over the past few years with various Ernie pieces but needed a nice LD piece. Finally I managed to get a cover of hers, and it also happens to be Steven's final Lady Death cover, as he got sick right after this and ended up losing his battle with cancer shortly thereafter. But his work lives on and this awesome piece by him is very nice, with Lady Death, Pagan, Cremator, Michael, and Hope all in one cool image. I am very happy to finally land one of these, especially as they are tough to find and tougher to acquire now that we in the Fiend Army have all grown up, assimilated into "normal society" and gotten jobs that allow us to pay a pretty penny for this stuff lol. Classic Chaos was huge to me and my brother's as teens and each time I get a new piece I appreciate it so much.As was common for these, Steven cut his artboards from larger sheets so it is handcut and about 11 1/2 inches wide, so my scanner trims off the 1/2 inch white border on the right side of the scan.
