Very happy to have this cover to Speed Racer #4, illustrated by Ken Steacy. I loved the original Speed Racer show and also the comic series when I was a kid. I still have this issue of the comic in my collection. Ken Steacy did such a great job on the covers for Speed Racer, Astro Boy, Robotech and more. It's nice to see how vibrant the colors are on the original painting.

Received in a trade with the great Ray Cuthbert. Thank you Ray! I'm thrilled to have this beautiful piece of art.

How did I miss this Steacy piece in your gallery? I really love Steacy's covers from this era, as well as the Tempus Fugitive series he did. For somebody I consider a superstar, Steacy seems oddly underrated. Great get!
