DescriptionIn this pivotal Venom issue ("The Nativity, Part Two"), Eddie Brock reels from the revelation that his symbiote is about to give birth to yet another 'child.' The symbiote apologizes for keeping this a secret from Eddie, claiming that it was simply scared. I mean, who can blame the poor thing, when one of its previous kids was the totally murderous, rampaging Carnage. Its other spawn have not been very pleasant either.The baby is finally delivered in this issue, but it doesn't go as smoothly as previous ones ... understandable, as both Eddie and the Venom symbiote have gone through plenty of trauma since then. Plus, the Scorpion (Mac Gargan) appears on the scene to further complicate matters. As the symbiote gives birth, Eddie defends it with his life. The result is the strangest "delivery room" drama comic books may have ever seen. But the fighting all stops when the new symbiote is revealed to be stillborn... at least, that's what they wanted everyone to think. The symbiote child of Venom has survived, and has been quietly growing in secret, removed from the Marvel Universe, getting ready for the "Venom: First Host" storyline. Social/Sharing |

Haven't read the story yet but this cover and your description's gonna make me check it out! As always, Ryan delivers some stellar cartoony detail, particularly with that mouth! Watch out, Eddie! Congrats, Paul!
