Description

After a blood transfusion a weakened Batman receives a telephone call in the Batcave. The warden of the prison informs Batman that Deadshot has recently escaped and Batman goes out looking for him.

I love the layouts on this page. The giant typewriter is cool and the images conjured up in Batman's memory are excellently rendered. Add in a couple shots of the Batmobile and you have a cool piece.

To me part of Newton's signature style on Batman was how he was kept from view, leaving him a mystery.

Gotta love the old school Bats costume and its ribbed cuffs, like a sweatshirt. I remember those comics. Man, that is a cool page!
