This isn’t Alfred E. Neuman. Well, it is...but it isn’t. But it is...but it isn’t.

Since this is from 1949, it isn’t associated with Mad Magazine. I snagged this on eBay for a tiny amount of money, it was for charity, and I cannot resist charity usually.

It has a pinhole at the top...as if it had been on a...bulletin board. Imagine if this was THE image Kurtzman saw? I mean, it isn’t...but just think...? Anyway, it was for charity, it is a neat piece of history, and apparently somebody’s life, as somebody drew this for their dearest “Willie” to remind him or her of their love. Very cool.
