DescriptionTHURS 31 OCT 1968 PARA 00.30.22 NORTH LONDON. Halloween, strung out on stranonium, Luther has an appointment with destiny in Highgate Cemetrey...Superb page from a landmark in British comics. This is the painted background page: the foreground narrative page is also in my collection. This careful construction of pages from image an narrative is what has made Talbot's Luther Arkwright so influential, with image and text mirroring story and narrative. The board has a protective tracing paper cover, which also has the layout sketched on it. The text additions to this were produced for the Dark Horse serialisation in the early '90s.
