DescriptionI first came across the Mexican comic book phenomenon in Daniel Raeburn's 'The Imp' (#4 2002). Crazy and addictive stuff and not easy to find either in the UK or the Northern states of the US (plus, I read no Spanish).Delighted to see covers from some of these astounding books now coming up for sale...including this cover from Almas Perversas #693 (Wicked Souls) from 2012, published by Editorial Mango. 'Good-time girl: while the old man was drunk, they had themselves some tasty stuffing' Art is not signed, but I'm going to attribute this to Oscar Bazaldua, painted by Guillermo Peimbert Chavez. Have not read the books but the covers are eye catching all right in Mexican pulp cover art.Have three amusing ones myself.
