DescriptionFrom the very difficult to find Western Tales # 32 comes this Jack Kirby Splash featuring Davy Crockett taking aim at King Ram with little Daniel watching. Not sure if it is Joe Simon inks or inks from the Simon / Kirby studio since these kinds of duty were often spread around. Also worth noting is that the King Ram appears to be a swipe from one of the pages of Famous Artists Course book.Social/Sharing |

As a fan of Simon & Kirby, this is a treat to see. In my opinion, it looks like Kirby inking. Congrats.
PS I have the cover for this issue, but that was inked by Mort Meskin.
