Description

This wonderful boxing sports strip is pretty late for TAD, dated February 11, 1928, but features some of the greatest boxers in history, including Jim Corbett, Bat Nelson, Jack Johnson, and Jess Willard. The main thrust of the piece are the things that boxers did to get under the skin of their opponents. There's even a mention of getting the goat of another boxer. If you've read Eddie Campbell's book, you'll get the reference.

I wouldn't be surprised if TAD saw many of these fights live, but by this point, he was fairly housebound. Still drawing beautifully though.
