Description
"Okay. Roll 'em!"

The Ragnarok Job/Rage was one of the greatest extended epics of 2000AD's golden pre-prog 500 age; all the more astounding in that it was drawn by just one creator, the mighty mighty Carlos Ezquerra.

In this scene mutant bully-boy Max Bubba's plan for revenge and the complete destruction of the 23rd century from the 8th finally comes to fruition...but what's that on the horizon?

Again Carlos' art is an essay in how to do comics. Show, don't tell, draw what you need, not what you don't. The economy of the decision-making throughout is uncanny in its accuracy; what might seem sketchy in the original art is transformed into pure narrative brilliance on the printed page. No whiteout or extensive under-drawing here; just ink and marker. RIP Rey Carlos.
