It’s like a perfect Halloween page: a treat to see Salvador’s take on a different armor, but there are some fun POV tricks on this one, too…

Panel 1 is from Iron Man’s viewpoint, of course, looking down through the water at Namor, and panel 2 has that reversed, seeing Tony from the vantage point of the Sea King (presently choking on the raw sewage Tony’s flooding the room with…. Party foul, Tony!). I love the refracted view of Iron Man’s gauntlets here vs. the rest of him (out of the water) including the crazed right eye peering out of the broken, battle-damaged mask. Such a cool panel. The balance of Panel 3 is wonderfully lovely, and everything pays off in panel 4: hydro-armor!

So happy to have another fun example from this run!

Salvador Larroca's work on Invincible Iron Man with Matt Fraction was so superb! Great example!

What a way to use the Hydro Armor to take out the Sea King! Larroca had a great run on this book - I just picked up my first page myself! Congrats, Jason!

I love the hydro-armor. If that doesn't already exist as an action figure, it should.
