I didnt really discover Skottie's work until i came back from my comic book hiatus. I was aware of him, but I hadn't really discovered his work yet. Fast Forward:

I love Skottie's work. I just finished crunching through I Hate Fairyland. It's fantastic! I love artist / writers who do it well. I really highly suggest his work. I'm looking forward to reading anything he's written, drawn, or both. His new Middlewest with Jorge, and Jean-Franois is starting off to be real good.

As far as this pin up. Sponge Bob is my inner child. He was a big part of my college student cartoon time. I'm glad Skottie drew this piece. It's a nice big full size board. and so Sponge Bob is all in your face with his demented teeth. It's slated for being hung at the end of my hall way where he can stare at people in the living room, or coming into the house. There is no end of joy in this piece. And I'm super stoked for the I Hate Fairyland Cover, and two page spread I have on hold with Felix. So, those to come! and I doubt they'll be the last of his work I grab.
