Description

...and here he is, stoner romantic Steve Stranski, marooned in Palomar, lost his glasses, trying to make his way, surfing when he can, and crushing on Pipo Jimenez.

Another beautifully-judged page from Beto Hernandez. Wonderful to see how the image is won on the page.

Pagination is complex here. This is the third page of part 7 of the Love & Rockets storyline that would be published as 'Love & Rockets X' in 1999. In the comic (Love and Rockets #37, 1991) it's page 29, but a small insert (removed later, but visible in the original publication) has it as page 39. In the 1999 compilation, with added panels it spreads over pages 42 and 43.
