Wonderful interior illustration painted by Ned Dameron for the special limited edition of A. Merritt's "The Face in the Abyss" published by Donald M. Grant in 1991. The image appeared as a doublepage spread between pages 96-97.

Oil on acetate overlay and underpainting mounted on foam core.
