Description

Ink and blue wash illustration from the Disney Studio, commissioned for an article on Disney in the June 1933 issue of Redbook Magazine(one of 8), but apparently never used. A great example of early Mickey Mouse art.

My kind of art. Redbook Magazine just ceased magazine publication in January 2019 after 115 years of publication. My mother was a subcriber. I remember seeing most of the eight pieces of art that unfortunately were not published. Interesting for me to see the lines that indicate motion over the head, arms and hands.
