Description

I managed to go out to a local comic store to visit local artists I know. Ended up making my way to Drew's table and we caught up for a bit. Drew made me a deal and I couldn't resist having a full figure splash from a Wonder Woman book (though not a splash of wonder woman). I'm sad I didn't have the funds but I wanted a page from earlier in the book where Drew had drawn himself partaking in "coca" cola via a straw, through his nose.

There's a lot of visual information to take in. It is just a beautiful page that really captures the atmosphere Drew was doing for in this "Studio 54" vibe. An amazing act on stage, people club dancing, Drew even went as far as to draw the stage lights! The inkwork is so fine I can't even fathom how Drew managed to keep everything straight and clean. He even accounted for the shadow of the drums through the veils of the dancers. Beautiful full figure of Silver Swan and I am very lucky to have this piece as my first splash page!
