Libra Saint Dohko by Shiori Teshirogi

A very nice head sketch of Dohko, the Libra Gold Saint from the Saint Seiya Lost Canvas (Chronicles) serie drawn by Shiori Teshirogi (the serie being written by Masami Kurumada).

It was very nice to meet Teshirogi san at the “Foire du Livre de Bruxelles” this year where she was announced as international guest less than a week before her attendance.
Sketches were available at draw and I was one of the lucky ones (we were many).

This one was my request for Shiori san to draw whichever Saint was her favorite. She choose the Libra Gold Saint Dohko and even added Shion, the Aries Gold Saint in the background as a bonus. Incidentally Dohko is the only saint from the first Saint war to make it to the modern timeline.

Needless to say, I was delighted to be able to get a sketch based on the Saint Seiya franchise which is probably the most important to me from my child/early teen years and which has remained a favorite since then.

The nice plus being that Teshirogi san draws (much) better than Kurumada san himself.
