Goran Parlov & Garth Ennis, Fury Max #2 p. 6. Nick Fury, Pug, and Shirley Defabio

Fury Max is a masterpiece --- my favorite war comic. Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov really hit it out of the park with this series. This page features the principals of the central love triangle of the story, which is told over several decades and touches on many major US military misadventures since WWII. Parlov ages the characters more effectively than I've ever seen in a comic book, and Ennis tells an absolutely riveting story --- he pulls no punches. Thanks for taking a look!
