Description

This page was published in May 1988, penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Mark Farmer.

There is perfect symmetry here as Gil Kane pencils the last issue of the Green Lantern series that began in August 1960. Gil created the silver age version of Green Lantern in Showcase 22 in October 1959 and drew the character for the next ten years in his own series. The series would go on hiatus for four years starting in 1972 and underwent a minor name change in 1986 but it lasted for the better part of three decades with the likes of Neal Adams, Mike Grell, Joe Staton contributing artwork after Gil's departure.
