Gene Luen Yang and friends comic art display Fremont April 2019

      I set up this display in a Fremont Main Library lobby display case of the Alameda County Library system. Gene Luen Yang is a leading figure in comics and graphic novels with his National Book Award nominated graphic novels American Born Chinese and Boxers & Saints. In 2016, Gene was selected as National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature for a two-year term by the Library of Congress, Every Child A Reader, and the Children’s Book Council. I included some works written by Gene and drawn by his collaborators.
