Gene Yang: American Born Chinese page 201 based on Centerville Library

      Gene Yang is the cartoonist of American Born Chinese. The graphic novel won an American Library Assn. Printz Award and was a National Book Award finalist. It is one of three nominees for the NCS comic book division award. I knew Gene lived in my hometown of Fremont, CA. before I started reading the book. This page from the book shows a library where his characters meet. The image is flopped in the book, but I recognized It is based on the Centerville Library which I have visited as a patron, worked at as a clerk, and a regular stop on my delivery route today. I was able to confirm this while speaking with Gene.
