Description
My son was born six weeks premature, and immediately following his birth, my wife and I spent 19.5 days in the hospital, praying all of us would survive long enough to be able to bring him home. We all did, barely.

Returning home, the first thing I did to acknowledge making it through that experience and feel the welcome embrace of home was to lay down on the couch, my newborn son sleeping on my chest, and read the newest issue of 'New Avengers': #38.

To have this lovely double page spread from that very special book moves me in a very, very special way.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Paolo and all the great folks at Cadence Comic Art.

What a backstory to your interest in this art!  I've certainly acquired art as a form of therapy in recent years...  Great pair of pages from Bendis's terrific run on NA!
