Beautiful Dreamer by John K Snyder III

I have been a fan of John K Snyder III's artwork for many years, ever since I saw his Classics Illustrated adaptation of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde that First Comics published in 1990. He has such a striking, distinctive, atmospheric style. Snyder doesn't often do convention sketches because he likes to put a lot of time & detail into his artwork. However when I met him at Cradle Con in Garden City, Long Island last weekend he really liked the idea of my Beautiful Dreamer sketchbook, and he thought it would be fun to contribute a piece. And, as Snyder reminded me, he'd also drawn the Forever People back when he was the penciler of Suicide Squad. He definitely did an incredible job on this sketch. My girlfriend says the art just pops off the page.
