When Bruce Pennington and Nigel Suckling put some paintings up on Bruce's site in April, I knew that I must be quick...and a few months later here it is! One of Bruce Pennington's iconic cover wrap illustrations for Gene Wolfe as published by Arrow Books.

Bruce's distinctive work is iconic: decades of Scifi fantasy brilliance. Enigmatic, uncanny, deeply strange; these off-centre images are perfectly matched to Wolfe's unsettling and mysterious narratives.

Fantastic stuff.The sad part is that not many people know of him despite the fantastic visionary nature of his artwork.
