DescriptionThis page was published in August 1961, penciled by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Bernard Sachs. The two part crossover entitled Crisis On Earth-One and Crisis On Earth-Two is widely regarded as the greatest Justice League story ever and it certainly has my vote. All nine Justice League members, seven members of the Justice Society and six villains from two worlds collide in this legendary tale. And in a unique pairing, the line-up includes both the silver age and golden age versions of the Flash, Atom and Green Lantern. The story and the two covers are epic. This would be the first of many annual JLA/JSA crossover events, all of which were greatly anticipated during the 1960's and beyond. I have always wanted to own a page from this issue and am grateful that an opportunity finally came along. Social/Sharing |
