Description

Another item checked off my wish list! A John Romita Sr drawn and inked strip from the first few years of the Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip! This one, which ran on 4-22-1980, features two panels of the Kingpin in the midst of trying to figure out the connection between Peter Parker and Spider-Man! Thanks so much to the ever-awesome Mike Burkey for parting with this gem, and helping me track down a strip that I'd be happy with. Once I found this one with the partially masked Spidey, I knew it was perfect!!!

Your excitement is clear in your description...and it’s not hard to see why! This Romita strip example hits so many points - Pete, Spidey, a lovely female character, Pete unmasking, Kingpin...OK, I think that’s it?! ;) Very nice, indeed!
