Hmmm, in alll the years I've worked with Mike, I can't think of a piece of interior art that people have asked me for more than this one. An insanely detailed double page spread of Aspen's first ever appearance in the coral armor, and looking as hot as ever. I wonder why? Good memories I tell ya. Definitely NOT for sale, but enjoy!

Aspen is by far my favorite character and this piece is so awesome. I remember when I first saw it while reading the comic. Thanks for posting it Frank!!!

I put this text under a picture from Tim Townsend site he has together with Michael Turner. But because this is one of my favorite pieces i put the text here again out of respect. When i saw this picture, i googled Michael's name, and what i found shocked me. I never met Michael, but his art is almost in every room of my house, from his posters to his statues. Very strange but while i am typing this i am starting to cry. That a man i have never met in real life can have this influence on me. Michael i will miss you, but your art has and will touch people for a long time to come and this is a great legacy THANK YOU! Menno Mol 6/28/2008

I know it's been years since you posted this piece but I have to comment because I was one of those people that asked for this piece way back when! I remember when I first saw it, my jaw dropped! Truely a masterpiece and an epic one to say the least!!! One of my all time favorites! Thanks Frank and Mike!

Still beautiful and breathtaking, even after coming by to stare and it countless times! One of my all time favorite pieces he's done.
