I'm told these days that every Original Comic Art collector, by regulations, needs to have a Carol Day in their collection. So here is mine!

This is the original art for Carol Day #1935, from the story Friedrich Kahlenberg, which ran in 1962. In Friedrich Kahlenberg Carol and her soon-to-be fiancee Joe Wilson (my cousin! lol) travel to the small Bavarian country of Kolberg on a modeling assignment, where she must fend off the attentions of the impoverished prince.

In this episode, Carol and Joe are out to dinner with Friedrich as he tries to deflect the situation of Hans' drunkenness.

Board size is about 19 x 7.75 inches with an image size about 17 x 4.875 inches.

The attention to detail here by artist David Wright is just AMAZING. For a treat, blow it up as large as you can. It's really something!
