DescriptionI first came across the Mexican comic book phenomenon in Daniel Raeburn's 'The Imp' (#4 2002). Crazy and addictive stuff and not easy to find either in the UK or the Northern states of the US (plus, I read no Spanish).Delighted to see covers from some of these astounding books now coming up for sale...including this cover from Corridos Perrones pa la Raza ('Awesome Tales/Songs for the People' or, alternatively 'Cumshots') from 2006, published by Editorial Toukan. This continuing series is in the tradition of Mexican narco-ballads, with two-fisted tales of the cross-border drug-trade. Awesome Songs for the People. "Baaa-adass Motherf*cker.
