Description

This was commissioned from Michael at East Coast Comic Con back in May of this year. Michael finished it just as the day ended on Friday (I wasn't going to be making it back for the rest of the weekend).

Upon handing it to me, though, I was a little disappointed in that the background was left empty (white). So it was just Dredd's head on the page. Michael many times fills in the background in a flat black (or sometimes adds a little something). I asked him if it would be possible to do something in the background (thinking he'd just color in the ground black). He told me to bring it back the next time I saw him.

That next time was this past New York Comic Con in October. I brought it over to him on Thursday and checked back on Saturday and was surprised and amazed at the crazy background he added (no extra charge). He drew a plethora of awesome icons and elements...just crazy random stuff..I think it's hilarious. He pointed out that he even threw in 'the kitchen sink!' lol
