While art does not bear a year, it is dated March 25 and features six panels, 1920s. Clever gag features Ignatz hiding brick under handkerchief as Officer Pupp arrives, causing him to comment that he was expecting to find Ignatz w/a brick and surmising his constant vigilance has at last reformed Ignatz. While this discussion occurs, Krazy Kat innocently walks by, causing Ignatz to squirm w/impatience. Last panel shows Officer Pupp walking away and Ignatz uncovering the brick w/a determined look upon his face. Handwritten "& The Great Reformer" subtitle at top margin in blue pencil. Artboard has even moderate aging w/slightly lighter margins as once framed. Left margin has .5" to 1" wide strip of moisture staining (wider at top/bottom corners), but majority does not affect art in any way. Small spot of surface paper lift and stain at bottom of fifth panel, not affecting art. Artboard is VG/Fine overall but could be matted and framed for nice display.
