Description

This is an original conte crayon piece complete with the usual stamped backer board and tape markings at the edges. A great bikini clad blonde complete with the signature heels that Ward did so well are here in this one. Published in Fun House 5/66 according to stamp and notation on the back. This piece is large as was typical of his golden period. The caption, written in ballpoint pen at the bottom reads "By the time we'd hiked to this forsaken spot of yours I was good and tired - now I'm just tired!"
