Description

Tonight I am posting the 2nd and 3rd print covers to the most recent reboot of The Avengers.

This particular cover was actually the final page splash to the issue, where the Big Three (Cap, Iron Man and Thor) assemble once again in all their glory.

I have really been enjoying this incarnation of the title, which has been featuring stories about the team that have origins dating back to the Avengers of 1,000,000 BC. (In fact, Iron Man is currently trapped in the far, far distant past, and I am super excited to see what happens there).

The most recent story line, ending in issue #30, involved the Star Brand, which is a mark that gives its bearer infinite, god-like powers, limited only by the wielder's imagination.

Great image of the Avengers Big Three on this cover! McGuinness definitely can draw some ultra heroic figures! Congrats!

The Trinity! Great shot here worthy of a splash AND cover to a relauch of the Avengers! I like how this is laid out and the overall illustration is tops but what really takes it over the top are the stellar inks. Very nice, indeed. Congrats!
