DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!13.5x19.75" artboard has pen and ink original art by Don Heck for page 14 of "Tales To Astonish" #11, published by Marvel Sept. 1960. Page features seven panels from "I Was Face-To-Face With The Forbidden Robot" story, showing man scaling castle wall to find titular robot. The man attempts to lasso the robot as it emerges from the shadows, the robot promptly shocking him into unconsciousness as the robot walks off. Top margin has handwritten "Astonish" title and issue/page numbers, page number repeated in black marker at lower right. Back has faint Comics Code Authority inkstamp and stained outline from piece of tape at lower left, but this does not affect art, which remains clean and displays Exc. Social/Sharing |
