Description

40" X 20". Original oil painting on board, circa 1988. Done as a sample gallery piece to demonstrate the artist's ability to illustrate spacecraft.

In the 80's, crystals and their new age energy were all the rage and this piece shows spaceships being powered by huge crystals as an energy source. Dameron's style is dramatically different in this masterpiece compared to his usual works. Too bad he didn't do more sci-fi and spacecraft illustrations. He had an incredible talent for this genre but never used it beyond this piece!
