Description

This gorgeous cover by Nowlan was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 17.25". The illustration was also used as the cover for the trade paperback Doctor Strange Vol. 2: Remittance by Mark Waid.

As most Nowlan fans know, Kevin uses a variety of signatures on his covers. Someone once told me that this is based on how pleased he is with the finished piece, and when he signs his full name, it means he really likes it. If that is indeed the case, I can see why he signed this one in full. Absolutely gorgeous!

I feel like Nowlan is just that guy that's been quietly putting out stellar art for the last 40 years without a lot of fanfare. Great cover.
